Silo Conversions
Refit your existing silo with a new cone base, elevate to standard height or call us to see how we can help you.
Silo Repairs
Repairs and modifications to silos include the ground lid opener, blower pipe replacement, additional bagging chute and sight glass installation, as well as general purpose welding and on-site repairs. Repairs are quoted on a case-by-case basis.
General Engineering and Repairs
We are able to repair the majority of farm implements and equipment, specialising in rolling and forming steel for any purpose.
Transport
Transport for silos is charged per hour and size, depending on the silo, it may require an escort vehicle and relevant NHVR permit. Silos can be transported any distance, moved interstate or simply re-sited on an existing property.
Custom Design
All silos can be custom designed to meet your individual needs.

Benic calf trailer was designed with the health and safety of both the farmer and the calf in mind. The unique rail and sling design carries the calves securely.
The bars guide them to prevent them from swinging about and keeping them from harm whilst on the journey.
The benefits of this system are that the calves are kept upright, clean, and safe from being trampled on. This minimises the risk of navel infection and injury.
The Benic Calf trailer is ergonomically designed for the farmer to use without too much bending and stain.
There are several models available for the Benic calf transport system.
The 12 calf single rail trailer, the 24 calf double rail trailer and both models can come with euro hitch as tractor lift attachment.
About Vic Silos
About Us
Vic engineering and silos was founded in 1985 by Vic Vugs.
Vic first learnt how to make silos in 1980 in Popanyinning, a small country town near Pingelly.
He was employed by a silo manufacturing firm called D.G. Bird's.
In 1985, Vic and his wife Val founded the engineering and silo making business: Vic Engineering and Silos.
In 2016 Vic passed away, the business changed hands and then closed. It has now been re-opened under the new ownership of Ashley Kent.
Our vision for the future is to produce a quality product for the industry. Ashley believes his 18 years in the dairy farming industry will compliment Vic Silos.
